Pay Attention To Many Aspects When Choosing Sunglasses For Children

- Nov 29, 2019-

Consumers who choose sunglasses and myopia are gradually increasing. In order to allow people to choose a pair of glasses that are qualified and comfortable to wear, relevant experts remind consumers to pay attention to three aspects when choosing glasses:

1. Pay attention to optometry. Choosing a pair of suitable and comfortable glasses, accurate refraction is a basic factor. Before spectacles are matched, you should check whether the optometrists in the optician's shop have an optometrist or optometrist certificate issued by the provincial optical industry association; if the optometry is affected by mood and physical conditions, you should go through the optometry twice in a few days. Achieve scientific and accurate optometry results.

2. Pay attention to the material selection of glasses. General spectacle lenses are divided into resin, glass and crystal, and the lenses and frames should have a shelf life. If the lenses and frames are imported materials, they should have importer inspection certificates.

3. See the certificate of product quality inspection. When you buy glasses, you must clearly see the product quality inspection certificate, the name of the manufacturer and the site of the glasses you purchased, and you must obtain a shopping invoice. Once a quality problem occurs, you can safeguard your legal rights and interests.

When choosing sunglasses for children, consider the following:

Nose pads

The head of a child is very different from that of an adult, especially the height of the bridge of the nose. Most children have a lower bridge of the nose. Therefore, it is best for children to wear glasses with a high nose pad or adjustable nose pads. Otherwise, the nose pad of the frame is low, and the glasses are easy to stick to the eyeballs, and even touch the eyelashes, causing eye discomfort.

Frame material

The material of the frame is mainly divided into metal frame and plastic plate frame. Most children are active and take off and put on their glasses more casually. The metal frame is easily deformed and broken, and the metal frame may cause skin irritation. The plastic frame is not easy to change and difficult to damage.

Pay attention to weight when choosing children's glasses. Because the weight of the glasses directly affects the bridge of the nose, if it is too heavy, it can easily cause pain in the bridge of the nose, which can seriously lead to degeneration of the nose. Therefore, the weight of children's glasses is generally the most suitable below 20 grams.

Frame size

Children's glasses should have sufficient sight areas. Because children have a wide range of activities, try not to choose frames that produce shadows and blind spots. The frame is too small, the field of view will become smaller; the frame is too large, it is easy to wear unstable, and the weight will increase. Therefore, children's glasses frames should be medium in size.

Lens selection

The optical quality of the lens will affect the visual quality, so children's glasses should choose lenses with good light transmittance, to avoid inferior lenses to make myopia worse. From a safety perspective, children should choose safe, non-fragile resin lenses instead of glass, which can avoid eye trauma caused by broken lenses.

Most parents think that the more expensive the better, the better it is for children. In fact, the refractive power of children's eyes changes quickly, and it usually needs to be replaced within six months to one year. From an economic perspective, it is more important to choose the right price.
